![]() ![]() It was a lovely stay for the weekend and we'd gladly be back. Overall this is worth the hefty price tag. This was worth it as they had an omelet bar, pancakes and waffles to order, plus the usual scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and a bunch of Mexican options including Pozole, chilaquiles, tamales and a spread of Mexican pastries. Breakfast was continental for Titaniums or you could upgrade for $10 to the hot buffet. They do a nightly free tequila toast at 5:30 PM too. Dining: I had a couple drinks at the outdoor bar and it was great. Again though be aware of the long walks, we were at least 5 minutes from the lobby each way. All the staff I dealt with here were very friendly and helpful and my family was equally impressed Room: The room was great with a large bedroom area with a big InternetTV, excellent bathroom with separate tub and shower and Aromatherapy Associates products, a balcony and lovely view and no issues with Wifi, soundproofing or power. Check In: My SNA had been denied but the agent did upgrade me slightly to a deluxe room with golf course view. Oh and self parking is $10 and valet $29 a day. It's all very well maintained and very beautiful to look at. There are extensive outdoor grounds as well. There's also a lot of meeting and event space which has its own office store with shipping and copying. The grounds include a well known spa which has its own pool, a separate large pool, a lazy river, a golf course, several indoor restaurants, a combination indoor and outdoor bar and a Starbucks. Hotel: The hotel is absolutely massive and there can be long walks to your rooms. This ride provides rolling cross-country singletrack with just a few techy sections and. Try this beautiful out-and-back stretch of the Arizona Trail that meanders through the foothills of the Rincon Mountains and through picturesque Colossal Cave Mountain Park on Tucson's eastside. There are also some hiking trails around the hotel you can walk to. Click Here for a map of the Starr Pass main trail. TUS is about 25 minutes away and the surprisingly nice Downtown Tucson about 15. It's only about a 10 minute drive to I-10 though so getting around the area is easy. ![]() Stay Report - 1/14 to 1/16 Location: The resort is located west of downtown Tucson in a quiet and upscale residential neighborhood.
